1

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it.

HousePeek uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) to operate the platform, maintain your session, and improve your experience.

2

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies: authentication session tokens, CSRF protection, and cookie consent preferences. These cannot be disabled as they are required for the platform to function.

Functional cookies: dashboard layout preferences, search filters, recently viewed listings, and language settings. These improve your experience but are not essential.

Analytics cookies: anonymized usage data to understand how visitors interact with the platform, which pages are most visited, and where errors occur. We use this to improve performance and fix issues.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. HousePeek does not serve ads and does not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.

3

Your choices

When you first visit housepeek.ca, you will see a cookie consent banner. You may accept all cookies, accept only necessary cookies, or customize your preferences.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings or by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of certain features such as authentication and saved preferences.

4

Third-party cookies

Some features (map embeds, virtual tour players, Google Fonts) may set cookies from third-party domains. These are governed by the respective third party's cookie and privacy policies.

We limit third-party cookie usage to what is necessary for platform functionality and do not permit third parties to use cookies on our site for advertising purposes.

5

Data retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies expire after the period specified in the cookie, typically between 30 days and one year.

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized. Individual session data is not retained beyond 26 months.
